Whilst smaller than some QS firms, we ensure that clients receive unique levels of personal service including continuity of personnel, an ongoing relationship throughout the whole project including the pre-construction phase, and a competitive fee structure.
We are fully regulated by RICS (The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and abide by their codes of practice.
Why use a Quantity Surveyor?
Quantity Surveyors (QS) are also known as construction cost consultants. When you engage a QS on a building project you are able to utilise the training and experience of a regulated professional to aid and guide you throughout the often confusing construction process.
As professional quantity surveyors we are instructed by the client to work on their behalf in the design team, often incorporating architect / contract administrator, structural engineer and other consultants. We are able to advise and guide the client throughout the pre-construction and construction phases of the project, therefore helping to control costs and minimise risk. We also advise the design team on specialist matters including estimating costs, procurement, producing tender documentation, contractual matters, material and build choices, valuing post-contract changes and negotiations with the contractor.
